SPAM update - 24 hrs later
Roughly 24 hours ago, I posted that I had received 4667 pieces of spam in the last 10 days — 3952 were blocked and 715 made it through my defenses. From that, I estimated that I was receiving close to 470 pieces of spam a day, but that I was afraid things were getting worse.
Well they are.
As of today — 11 days collecting — I have 4417 blocked spam emails, and 794 made it through. That’s a total of 5211 — or 544 in a single 24 hours period. That’s just great….
