Oh so corny…
Ugh. Just saw the second Charlie’s Angels movie. Now, I really liked the first one, but this was just….waaaaaay too corny.
Now the first one was, well, over the top. But in a nice way. There was balance. This one was more like over the Big Top. Three clowns in skimpy clothes acting like monkey with no physics. The only good thing was all the cameos — but I’m not talking about Demi Moore. Bah. Demi Moore ptui ptui…. Filthy.
But there were some good cameos. From a very short couple of shots with a nearly unrecognizable Bruce Willis, to a decent amount of Robert Patrick, some John Cleese, and a few others.
But overall, a waste of good celluloid. Tomorrow night we’re watching The Italian Job, maybe that will be better.

The Maxim Magazine people think the only really good thing about the first new Charlie’s Angels movie was Bill Murray. Seriously. No, go ahead and read that first sentence again. I thought Crispin Glover was pretty cool as the thin man, actually. Go George MacFly!
I didn’t see the second movie, nor do I intend to, but The Italian Job was a lot of fun.
