Rollin’ Rollin’ Rollin’…
Get that Bank Account ROLLIN’! We have finally received part of our overdue payment from Big Faithful! Things are really hopping now! I’m still doing a little work for the projects I’ve got with Big Faithful, but I’m keeping them on my server until we get the rest of the invoices paid off. Since that means he either 1) can’t show them to his clients, or 2) has to admit to his clients that he’s outsourcing. And he really doesn’t want to do that, I know.
My leg’s all better today too. I have no clue what was wrong with it last night, but I kept it up for a while and it was fine. Just a typical muscle sprain or whatever. What confused me yesterday was that trickling sensation. True, that could have just been in my head, or some wildly mis-interpreted other sensation (those brains are tricky). But I also realized that, yeah, obviously when you have sharp muscle sprains or whatever, there is a good chance there will be some internal bleeding, right? This just happened to be in a location where I could feel the bleeding.
Well, it makes sense to me….
I’m having a very productive day — and I’m listening to Moussorgsky’s Pictures at an Exhibition which is always great. We watched X-Men2 last night, and I bought a copy of Pirates of the Carribbean*It was funny, when I called the video store to see if Pirates had come out yet, I had a sudden brain fart and ended up asking if they had Treasure Island for sale yet…. for Jen (she really loves that movie). She already watched the special features last night, but I have the sneaky suspicion we’ll be watching the movie tonight.
Except tonight is Angel / West Wing night, so maybe not.
It was great last night, I told Jen I had rented X-Men2 and we could watch it with dinner, but I didn’t tell her I got Pirates, I figured she probably didn’t remember it had come out that day. So I hid the copy of Pirates inside the TV stand, in front of the DVD player, so she could see it when she put X-Men2 in. So I was downstairs wrapping up my work so I would be ready for dinner, and suddenly there was this SHRIIIIIIIIEEEEEEEEEKKKING from the living room!
:) Mission accomplished.
