AHEAD of schedule!
Wow! This is an unusual feeling…. I’m actually ahead of schedule! At the beginning of the weekend, if you remember, I said that if I really concentrated, I could possible finish up the sister site on the W project. I also said that perhaps my biggest problem would be staying concentrated while the whole house thing is still up in the air.
Well, I really was quite wrong on a few things. First, I underestimated how much the house thing would distract me. I think I spent more than 50% of my weekend thinking about it, editing photos to test wall colors, going to Lowes to look at flooring, etc. So, it looked like my finish-over-the-weekend plan was going to be shot, right?
Fortunately, I also dramatically overestimated the time involved to swich over to the sister site. It turns out that, for the past five months, I really did know what I was doing all along! This whole time, I’ve had that move in the back of my head, and whenever I added something to the site I made sure it would be easy to update. And boy, did I ever get that part right! All in all, I would estimate that the entire move took roughly seven hours. Not forty. Just seven.
Sweeeet.
So not only did I have time to make the transition this weekend, I also had time to create the intro animations for both sites. Yep. Both of them.
If they have any changes, I’ll be making those. But really, all I’m waiting on is final approval and I can post these sites and they’ll be finished! Yay!
