Good caramel, bad commercial

Well, the caramel I tried the other day turned out (in my humble opinion) deliciously. MMmm…. I made two batches, one with chopped almonds mixed in, and another — because Jen doesn’t like nuts — with a little amaretto instead. I actually like the one with amaretto best — but it is the softest caramel I’ve ever had and will just about pool at room temperature! But goooood…..

Oh, and we’ve been having a debate about this commercial. I think most everybody agrees with me but Erin, so it’s technically a debate, although actually it’s just a gripe. I think it’s a terrible, terrible decision from their marketing team. The commercial is for a birth control pill. And the song in the background is “There she goes, there she goes again.” Now, when you combine those lyrics with the concept of birth control, the song might as well say, “There she goes again (that dirty ho).” Because what else does she do again and again that requires her to have birth control pills?

Right? Any agreement out there?

And no updates yet on the baby front. Still waiting…..

Maybe she she goes again with her husband, fiancee, long-term boyfriend… Not so much a ho then.

She’s not a ho if she does it for free.

The commercial of which I am thinking is a Yasmin commercial which shows this woman going out on a series of bad dates until she meets the one guy she seems to actually like. At which point, I think to myself, you know, he may be nice, but I don’t care how great that pill is. You’d better be using a condom at least the first few times you sleep together, you stupid bitch.

So, slut and ho were irrelevant to me. I’m merely concerned she’s gonna get the clapp or something.

Whoa, we’ve been seeing different commercials here. I only saw the one with various women dancing around in slow motion.

…which is a pretty annoying commercial stylistically.
