Work, not vacation

Yurg. Working at home is sometimes rough. But never rougher than when you’re doing it inside a houseful of people on vacation. Oh well, I’m just glad everybody’s here, so I really can’t complain. And in addition to our families, our friend Kirstin is in town too! She’s living in Florida these days with her new husband and going to school, so we miss her — and it’s great that she’s here! Hopefully we can get that baby out before she leaves again….

I got a decent amount of work done today. Not a whole lot, but a good amount. More than I’ve done in quite a while. And I’m still tired — but that’s mostly because it took me a while to get to sleep last night. So off to bed I go!

Oh and before I do, I just want to say that Heather and Kyle ROCK for all the great baby gifts that came in the mail today! Yay! Heather made a really gorgeous baby blanket…soooooo soft. And Kyle sent the cutest bath toy — a frog that ribbits. Thanks so much!!

I’m so glad you liked the stuff. I just hope the baby will like the blanket as much. My goal was to make a blanket that might have blankie potential. And at the very least, the you and Jen have a small throw that you can wrap around your shoulders while holding the baby on those cold winter nights.
