Postponed again!
Yay! The meeting was postponed again! This time it wasn’t a flooded basement, but one of the people we were meeting with has a wife going into labor. Uh, gee, I guess I can understand that! So I guess all my wishing for a baby to get me out of the meeting was successful — I just wasn’t specific enough that it be our baby.
No news yet on when the meeting will be rescheduled to, but if it’s not tomorrow then I think I may actually be on track to catch up with my work again before this weekend! Astonishing, I know. I might actually have a weekend off! That just sounds too good to be true. But I was assuming that I would be getting enough work from this meeting to fill up my weekend.
A half-dozen projects, you say!? Yeah, no kidding. Yesterday was one of those days where just about everybody on my current client list got ahold of me and asked for an update. They’re all fairly small, so hopefully no big deal.
