Awesome storm
I have never, ever seen so much lighting! Just incredible. Probably 3-5 flashes per second, continuous. There was a huge storm cell that went over us (we were in a tornado warning) and then after it passed over it calmed down a lot, stopped raining, and we went out to watch the really cool lightening in the distance. That’s one of the good things about living in Kansas. You can continue to watch storms long after they’ve passed!
The lightening was just incredible. It looked, as Jen put it, just like a Star Trek special effect. The flashes were in many many layers of clouds, and they illuminated all depths. Just amazing.
