Well the painting is coming along. The nursery has been touched-up to death, but is finally good. The master bedroom has both colors in now — just a little touch-up will be necessary tomorrow. I should be able to install the chair rail before too long! That will be fun!
Killy had his first Well Baby appointment today, and it went perfectly. He’s just perfectly healthy! He’s exactly 60th percentile for height and weight — which is impressive since he came one or two weeks early. But here’s the really impressive part: he grew one inch and gained nearly one pound in the last week! (he’s one week old today!) The doctor first asked us if we were supplementing the breastmilk with formula (because formula-fed babies have a much higher rate of obesity), but of course we’re not. The doctor said that Killy’s weight gain was simply ‘dramatic’! He’s going to be a big boy!
Now, with my back, hands, arms, and knees sooo sore, I’m ready for bed at last. I didn’t really get any work done today, but I’m in a good spot to get a lot done tomorrow. And tomorrow we get our brand new refrigerator! Whoohoo!!!!
