I love good storms
Boy, it’s storming like crazy here! I’ve turned my computer on very briefly to make sure I’ve posted a cartoon for tomorrow, but then they’re certainly going off again! Very risky weather.
You’d be proud. I had my first big seafood dinner tonight in about 14 years. (maybe a bit longer) I’ve really avoided seafood for a long time. It’s still not my favorite, but I’m trying really hard to get to where I can at least eat it. I just don’t like poached fish, apparently. Yuck. But tonight we went to Red Lobster. And while I’m normally happy enough eating a shrimp pasta or something like that there — tonight I got really ambitious. I had their “Ultimate Feast” meal, which was crab legs, a lobster tail, breaded and fried shrimp, and shrimp scampi. Interesting. I couldn’t really decide if I really liked it or not. It was pretty different than what I was expecting, or remember from when I had had these things before (except I don’t think I’ve ever had lobster before). But I ate it all. Well, Jen helped me finish the shrimp scampi, which I wasn’t crazy about. But overall, I was pretty proud of myself.
