Doin’ the things that a spider can….
Wow, well Jen and I finally saw Spider-Man 2. It was quite good — as 90% of the world already knows, so I won’t go too far into it. One thing I haven’t heard discussed (not to say that it hasn’t been) but something that struck me regarding the scene where Spider-Man stops a subway. I wonder if that isn’t a subtle reference to the Superman thing about being able to stop a speeding train….
Anyway, we got Erin to watch Killy while we were gone, and apparently he had one of his really fussy periods. She says he cried for about 40 minutes, which is very, very unusual for Killy. Of course, if she hadn’t have told us, we never would have guessed. By the time we got home, he was a complete cherub. All smiles and giggles, not a tear to be seen.
But to try and make it up to Erin, I just got back from getting a few tubs of ice cream. Mmmm…. Erin’ prefers Ben & Jerry’s “Everything but the….” but Jen and I love the oatmeal cookie dough flavor. It’s one of their specials, a “back by popular demand” thing right now. But if you haven’t tried it, do so. Now. I’ll wait for you while you run to the store and pick some up. Go on! I’ll be right here.
