Daily Show vs. The O’Reilly Factor
This is a fun article from CNN. Apparently Bill O’Reilly, the Fox News host of The O’Reilly Factor was Jon Stewart’s guest on The Daily Show one night (we didn’t watch that episode), and called the Daily Show audience ’stoned slackers’.*“You know what’s really frightening?” O’Reilly said. “You actually have an influence on this presidential election. That is scary, but it’s true. You’ve got stoned slackers watching your dopey show every night and they can vote.” Comedy Central wasn’t upset at somebody poking fun, but didn’t want a misconception to persist. So they had Neilson Media Research look up some numbers….
Viewers of The Daily Show are more likely to have completed a four-year college than viewers of The O’Reilly Factor. Who knew!?

That’s hilarious. I knew Bill O’Reilly was an ass, but I didn’t know he was THAT big of an ass. I can’t believe he would say something like that. Wait. I forgot who I was talking about, of course I can believe it.

As a stoned slacker I resent O’Reilly’s comment. I swear, show some fucking loyalty to your audience, Bill!
Heh heh, that oughta stir the pot.
Dude, I totally just said pot!
