puppet president has no strings… uh, wires

Ok, here’s something for all of you conspiracy buffs. During the first debate Bush had an unusual bulge on his back. According to some speculation, he was wired with an earpiece. There’s a good Salon article, reprinted for free on RadioFreeUSA. There’s also a website dedicated to the theory, isBushWired.com.
Now a not-so-common fact is that Bush has dyslexia — to some degree or another — and he has, according to some, used earpiece communication in lieu of a teleprompter in the past. In fact, here is a short video (wmv file) where the camera appears to have caught the trasmission of another voice cueing Bush!
Doesn’t his speech inflection make so much more sense now!? As a documentary maker says of the earpiece prompter method:
Sound familiar? Long pauses between short and concise sentences…. Isn’t that a great description of Bush’s slow, methodical, inflection during his speeches? I always figured he did it that way to sound more compassionate. But it always got on my nerves. Now, this makes sense!
But did he have an earpiece prompter during the first debate? What about the second debate? I remember being really annoyed by his slow, methodical way of speaking during the first debate. I even mentioned it on this blog. I didn’t notice that in the second debate. True, this could simply be attributed to him having an off night vs. him having a good night. But still….
And finally, the most telling piece of evidence (other than the bulge, whatever it was), was one point during the debate. He was answering a question, and only had a green light on, meaning he had somewhere between 15 and 30 seconds left. Plenty of time. Yet here is what he said:
Let me finish.
The intelligence I looked at was the same intelligence my opponent looked at
Nobody was interrupting him — nobody that we could see or hear, at least! Here’s the audio.
So, what do you think? Was Bush really that stupid and immoral? Or do the conspiracy theorists have a point?

Bush Wearing a Wire?
LuxFX / They Think They’re Newsworthy - puppet president has no strings%u2026 uh, wires
This is disturbing. I hope that it isn’t true, just because I’d like to believe that Not-My-President Bush still has a little bit of dignity. Apparently there…

So far what I have seen is spin and circumstantial evidence re: the buldge and everything else anti Bush. I truly believe
we will never know the truth about anything. The governments of the World are all corrupt. Bush is a liar? All politicians are
to a degree. I have one suggestion, before making accusations be prepared to back them up with evidence. Wired? Prove it
please.

Otto: If you’ll notice, I’m not making accusations. If you’ll notice, I am describing these points with words like “apparently” and “according to some speculation”. So don’t expect me to back up anything, I’m just relaying what I’ve heard. And yes, of course all politicians are liers to some degree. But I do happen to believe that Bush has done more lying than most.
Mike: According to speculation, the device rumored to be between Bush’s shoulder blades is capable of encryption. If other communications crews were able to pick up the frequency they wouldn’t know what they were listening to.

To your point about Let me finish. A few associates of mine were sitting at the table yesterdey and one of them said Let me finsh and no one else had said anything. Perhaps body
language had something to do with Bush’s statement, Let me finish.
