carseat safety

Hey, do you have an infant or have friends who do? Here’s a big tip — forget about the ‘rule’ that says you transfer a baby from a rear-facing seat to a forward-facing seat at a year. You’re supposed to keep them in rear-facing for as long as your particular carseat can carry them like that — typically around 35 lbs, which might mean until about 3 yrs old! I’ve heard people say “I don’t want him/her to look like a baby!” What, are you saying that other people’s opinions are more important than your baby’s life!?
