almost forgot the champagne…
That would have been so sad! Actually, I’ve only sporadically remembered that today was, in fact, New Year’s Eve. Jen reminded me about the champagne at about 5:30pm. I ran out to the best liquor store I knew of, and just fell in love with the place. I’d only been in there once before, but it’s the closest that Kansas City has to Sam’s Wine Warehouse in Chicago, which was one of my favorite stores in all of Chicago.
Now, it’s time for junk food and movies!
