Apparently all MGM movie DVDs that were released between the end of 1998 and the beginning of 2003, that were marked as being “theatrical wide screen” were actually the pan-and-scan versions, with the tops and bottoms cropped off! Here is the list of movies. Here is more information about the class action lawsuit. You can either return the movie for another MGM title, or get $7.10 back.
