early day
Today was my looking-after-Killy day. Every Thursday Jen teaches a class at the museum and Killy and I have some father-and-son time, so I try to schedule my work around it. I had a rush project today though! So I got up early — about three hours earlier than normal! — and was able to get everything I needed finished by about 6:00, but fortunately this was for a client who typically works until 7p or 8p, so it was still ‘in time.’ Killy did pretty well today, he only got sad and cried out for Mommy a couple of times.
I forgot to mention, the DVD Recorder finally came in a couple of days ago! I haven’t been able to test it too much, but it seems like a good system. I’ve heard that for the best results you should contact their support and have them send you a firmware upgrade. That would probably be a good idea. It’s a very spiffy machine! I’m keeping an eye out for DVD+R and DVD+RW sales so we can stock up on discs.
This weekend will be fun! Jen’s parents are flying in and I should be able to take the weekend off. I’ve got some really tight deadlines coming up though! This quarter is quickly shaping up to be the businesses best quarter ever!
