games? not quite

Well I tried the Doom3 demo last night, but didn’t get very far into it. My video card kept crapping out because I had the settings too high. I’m going to have to dial that back a bit and try again ;) I did play some of my old favorite, Quake III. That game just has terrific gameplay. I also downloaded the Half-Life 2 demo (there is one) and will try that one tonight, I think.

Killy and Jen are having fun with Erin in Emporia! They were going to go out and play putt-putt tonight, but they drove by the course and it was one of the basic courses, not one of the themed ones with the fancy obstacles.

We’re making plans to share a beach house on the Gulf of Mexico side of Florida this summer with Jen’s parents. It will be nice to take a vacation to the beach! We haven’t been to the beach since our honeymoon! And I haven’t stayed in a beach house since I was in high school (hmm, maybe even middle school)! This will be fun!

Half-Life 2 was a lot of fun to play, though I was extremely disappointed with the ending. :(
If you liked Quake III, try ETF. It’s free. My hubby plays it.
