hilarious phone call
Wow this was funny! This was on my cell phone (our business line) with a young man who had very little telephone skills. I’ll leave out all his meandering and try to just communicate his point:
ME: Hello?
HIM: Hi, I’m xxxxx from xxxxxxx. Are you familiar with our company?
ME: Hm, sounds familiar but I can’t say I know much about it.
HIM: Well let me tell you a bit about our company…. I’m on your site right now. Would you like your site to be on the first page of search engines? We can do that for you.
ME: Actually, I offer a similar service to my clients.
HIM: Oh. Uh. I guess that makes us rivals, huh? Hm. Well, this is awkward. Uh. Good luck with your business, I guess. *click*
HIM: Hi, I’m xxxxx from xxxxxxx. Are you familiar with our company?

Wow, I’ve gotten SPAMs like that all the time, but never a phone call! It is much funnier talking to these people live!
