- 500 hours and MS Paint Even when I didn’t know anything about computer graphics, I knew that MS Paint was an exceptionally limiting program. - Vader Challenge A particularly good piece of advertising, courtesy of Burger King. Very funny towards the end! Speaking of good advertising, GE’s ecomagination campaign has a terrific commercial out now (sadly, the movie link in that page is down). A bunch of models in mining gear toil to the tune of Sixteen Tons, and concludes with the idea that clean Coal plants help make the world more beautiful.
- Final Darth Entry The final post from Memoirs of a Monster, the blog of Darth Vader, has been posted and is brilliant. Very touching. Very sad. A beautiful piece of writing.
- Nuclear Arsenal Ben — you know, Ben! as in “Ben & Jerry’s ice cream” — has put together an amazing visualization of the US’s nuclear arsenal. A great message.
- Silent Bob Speaks Kevin Smith has a blog! ‘Nuff said!
