no rain!
I was correct about the lack of rain. And it was supposed to storm again today, and tonight. Nothing last night! Of course! And nothing again today! Of course! Rrrrr….
Today was a little cloudy, but pretty. Good for grilling outside. Jen tried a new hamburger recipe which was very good. I completely stuffed myself. The odd thing was that I know it wasn’t nearly as much as I normally need to stuff myself. Same thing at lunch today, we went out for Chinese buffet and I couldn’t even finish my Chinese doughnuts! (I love those things) We’ve been eating out a lot lately, though, what with Jen’s family being in town. I think my body is just saying, “Ok this is getting out of hand!” And I’m fine by that.
I’m getting a little frustrated with my website. It was coming along so nicely, and all I had left was the actual portfolio. Well, after compiling a list of all the things I want to put in it (and I’m not including a lot of old/crappy stuff) it turned out to be much longer than I was expecting. Wow, when did I do all of that stuff!?
It also took me a while today to decide whether or not I wanted to code the portfolio items in by hand or write a Mambo component for it. I’d love to write a component for it, and probably will get around to that someday. But I eventually decided that it was too great of an undertaking to figure out how to write a Mambo component, and start with something of this complexity. I’ll just do it by hand. Although, I’m still not sure. I’ve literally made this decision six times already day, flipping back and forth again and again. Sigh. I don’t know.
