coincidental clients
Last week, Jen and I were discussing the best way to grow our business. Neither of us were particularly enthralled with the idea of hiring employees. I’m a one-man show and I’m happy about it. One of these days, I know I will end up hiring somebody. I’m not planning for it to be any time soon though.
We eventually agreed that we should strive for better project efficiency and more passive income, like hosting fees. This means more direct clients, since most of my subcontracted clients will be hosting with the contractor and the rest host their own sites. We’ve got a few marketing ideas for pulling in more direct clients, but that won’t happen for a little while.
In the meantime, we’ve coincidentally gotten several leads for direct clients, most of which will even require hosting. What good timing!
Now I just need to figure out the efficiency thing…..
