MOST EXCITING MOVIE RELEASE THIS YEAR
Forget Serenity. This is much more exciting!
I am just floored that I didn’t know about this sooner. Mirrormask is a Neil Gaiman movie, brought to life by the Jim Henson studio and directed by Dave McKean, my favorite graphic artist of all time.
I am so amazingly excited by this!

I’m pretty floored that you didn’t know about Mirrormask sooner myself seeing as how I’ve known about it for about, oh, two years or so… That’s not an exact number, but I was pretty darn excited about Mirrormask well before Joss announced he was going to make a Firefly-based movie in the beginning of 2004.
Yeah, I’m totally stoked about Mirrormask. The only hitch is that it’s not getting a wide release … yet. Here’s hoping.
You can bet your ass I’ll be buying both movies on DVD once the time comes… I’ll be watching Serenity tomorrow night (probably by myself) and again Sunday afternoon with the family. I don’t have any idea when I’ll have a chance to see mirrormask…
What really burns my ass (apart from a three foot tall flame) is that many media outlets credit Neil Gaiman and The Jim Henson Company for Mirrormask when Dave McKean did 90% of the work on it. It’s Dave’s baby and the world seems to be ignoring that.
Oh, and don’t forget SERENITY. “That’s crazy-talk.”
