baby blues

Wednesday, November 23rd, 2005

Poor Jen! Her body is getting rid of all her pregnancy hormones, and she’s basically on a withdrawal crash. It’s commonly termed “Baby Blues” and happens about three days after birth. Guys: there is simply no way we can know what this is like. Women generate about 100 times as many hormones during pregnancy than […]

basketball game

Monday, November 21st, 2005

I had fun with my dad going to a basketball game tonight! Not that I’m very much of a sports person, but it was just a lot of fun going to a game with my dad — or two, as the case may be (doubleheader). The first game was Texas vs. West Virginia (yay, rinabeana, […]

first full day as a father of two

And it was wonderful! I got to play with Killy, and cuddle with Ellie, and it felt like just the best of both worlds! Ellie is so tiny, I can’t believe that Killy was even smaller when he was born.

Introducing Ellie!

Saturday, November 19th, 2005

Ellandra Llewellyn Sharp Woods was born this morning at 3:54am, weighing 8lbs 4.6oz and measuring 19.5″. Jen was in labor for only 2hrs and 15 minutes! powerful, but not good

Thursday, November 17th, 2005

Don’t get me wrong, I love Blender. (an open source 3d modeling and animation program) I love what it does. I love what it is. I love the principle behind it. And I love that there are so many people freely putting their time into making it better.
What I do not like about it is […]
